Changing the Complexion of STEM

LEAP in STEM is empowering traditionally excluded youth to achieve equitable representation in STEM.

In- and Out-of-School Programs

LEAP in STEM uses a three-pillar model that integrates hands-on learning with teacher and parent support to inspire our youth to think big, dream big, and take big leaps into their future!

Students

We create engaging hands-on STEM experiences to develop youth’s STEM identity and 21st-century problem-solving skills.

What is STEM?

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. These four disciplines are integral to who we are and focus strongly on innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking, all in the interest of providing solutions to local and global challenges.

Our Mission

To cultivate the next generation of diverse STEM leaders by broadening access to STEM and advancing the educational experience for youth who are traditionally excluded.

Our Vision

We envision a world where youth from all walks of life can change the complexion of STEM and are successful in their education, careers, and lives.
